What are feedback ratings?

The Feedback Forum is a place where Pinball Machines users leave comments about each other's buying and buying & selling experiences. If you're a buyer or a seller, check the Feedback Profile of the person your dealing with before you finish the deal with them, to learn about the other person's reputation with previous Pinball Machines users.  They will do the same with you.
In general, if you are satisfied with a user's Feedback Profile, it's probably safe to do business with that person.  However, if you viewed a member's feedback and there are still questions or unresolved issues, use the Pinball Machines escrow service.

The Feedback Profile made up of comments from other traders becomes an official "reputation."

The numbers in parentheses next to a bidder's User ID is that bidder's feedback rating. There are two numbers divided by a comma(,).  The number on the left represents how many times feedback has been left on this user.  The number on the right represents the users average score ranging from 1-10 with 1 being horrible and 10 being excellent.  This rating is a summary of the comments other users have made about this user.

If you're a buyer, checking a seller's Feedback Profile before you make a bid is one of the smartest and safest moves you can make. This Feedback Profile answers many questions about how a seller does business. Is she highly recommended by other buyers? Does he sell quality merchandise?

If you're a seller, reviewing Feedback Profiles can be helpful, too. Find out if a buyer is known as a great customer who provides fast payment. Or you can also see what bidders are looking for in a good seller.

By exercising good business practices, you will earn positive testimonials within the Pinball Machines community. The more positive feedback you receive, the more stellar your reputation becomes!

Can you explain the Wanteds section in depth?

Sure we can.  We'll start by telling you the difference between a Wanted Item and An Auction:

On an auction, you place bids, the sellers can add photos to the description, there is a set time frame, and there are several types of auctions, featured, set price bargain, etc.

A Wanted Item is just the about the same as any Wanted Item in a newspaper. You post the ad (you can also add pictures by using HTML in the description) put a link to your web site, sell items, just about anything you want and they are TOTALLY FREE.

A Wanted Item will expire in 30 days, however, when your ad is expired, you will receive an email and you can place another free Wanted Item again. Place as many free ads as you like, but don't put in more than 2 of the same ad at any one time.

At the bottom of each Wanted Item, there will be a button named "Respond to Ad". When a user clicks on that button, that user will be able to send you an email.

Just be sure that you abide about what we allow on our site which includes no firearms, liquor, tobacco, and any item which is illegal to sell. Also, no links to Adult sites are permitted.

If you want a new category, please contact us, and if it meets our guidelines (as stated above) we will gladly put a new category in for you at no charge.

What are the payment terms?

Pinball Machines offers two ways to pay for an fees you may owe:

  • Credit Card on File: You can place your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or American Express) on your Pinball Machines account for regular monthly payment. This allows unlimited usage without worrying about scheduled payments for any additional services you may wish to use or commissions as long as Pinball Machines is able to authorize your card for each month's payment amount. Contact us to setup your account. Now that's convenience!
  • Pay-As-You-Go: This option allows you to pay your monthly invoice by check or money order, or to request a one-time credit card payment. Without a credit card on file for automatic monthly billing, you will be prevented from listing additional items whenever you owe more than $25.00. Once your account balance reaches $25.00, your account will be blocked until payment is made or a credit card is placed on file for regular monthly payment. If you anticipate your monthly activity to exceed $25.00 and you wish not to place a credit card on file, it is recommended that you pre-pay your account accordingly to ensure uninterrupted service. Be sure to include your Username so your account is accurately credited the payment.

To pay immediately online, you can access our SECURE online payment center through your account administration page at My Pinball MachinesPinball Machines requires payment in full each month on accounts with a balance of $1.00 or more.

Payment and Invoicing Procedures
You'll be invoiced the first week of each month by email.  This invoice will include the previous month's account activity as well as any past due amounts. You may check your account status at any time. In the event you haven't received an invoice, you are still responsible for your payment.

Payments are due on the 28th of each month.

Late Fees
If payment is not received within 5 days past the due date, you will be billed a monthly finance charge of 1.5% (with a minimum of $0.50) or the highest amount permitted by applicable law - whichever is lower - if your account becomes past due. You may also have to pay collection costs. If you send a check or money order drawn from a bank outside the U.S., please include an additional $10.00 to cover bank fees.
